INCREDIBLE GESTURE OF COLOGNE FANS: They will amaze you when you see what they did with tickets they bought from Red Star!

Cologne fans did not watch their club in Europe for 25 years and they decided to make it up for a fantastic gesture.

Namely, since Cologne will receive a small number of cards for the visiting sector, fans were buying ticket packages for the sectors that are close to them.

Certain fans of Cologne decided to donate the tickets to Zvecanska (Hospital for children) so the tickets don't go to waste like it was the case in the game against Bate Borisov, and they received a thank-you note. We found out that those were around 35 fans of the German football club, currently at the bottom of the Bundes league. 

A message appeared on the portal of Redstarbelgrade.info of one German fan who addressed Delije (Red Star supporters). We will show you his entire message:

- I registered as a Cologne fan and I don't want to get between the discussions you have in your own club. I am also a long time member of the forum: "effzeh-forum.de", the largest independent forum of FC Cologne with 2700 users, so I know that the fans of other clubs are not very welcome.

Our club is coming into Europe for the first time in 25 years, and the fact that we have more than 100.000 members (more than Real Madrid), is enough for you to see that the entire city is crazy for the club and during the seasons we spent in the second league, we had around 40.000 members. As you saw in London, our fans are very active, and there were around 20.000 of us there.

That is why we have a great respect of the Red Star and its fans - you are a true club with enormous tradition and fantastic fans. We are really not coming as enemies in December, but as fans who want to celebrate true Football Spectacle.

We presumed that there won't be enough tickets for the coming fans (like in London). We wanted to buy single tickets for the parts right next with the sector for guest fans, but as they informed us from the website iticket.rs, selling of individual carts will begin right before the game, and we would have to plan the trip much before that. So some of us already bought the ticket packages for all the games of Europa League that Red Star is playing on their own field. For example, my ticket is near entrance number 1, to the west, the furthest away from the north which was available for sale.

Tickets for BATE Borisov and Arsenal, which we didn't use, we didn't throw away. We gave them to the to the Home for children without parents in Zvecanska, so the children can see the great games of Red Star. They have thanked us for that.

All the fans of Cologne who bought the tickets did the same and participated in the action.

Since the children and employees in Zvecanska were grateful for this, we, who are coming to Belgrade the day before the game, would like to visit the orphanage. It's St. Nicholas that day in our country (and we know that it is a great celebration in Serbia 13 days later), so we wanted to bring gifts to children, which is our tradition - fruits, nuts, hazelnuts, sweets, and toys.
