Russia ready to join the negotiations about Kosovo: Popovic after the talks in Moscow

Popovic stressed that Russia strongly advocates the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1244 which treats Kosovo as an integral and inalienable part of Serbia

Minister of Innovation and Technological Development Nenad Popovic said yesterday that Russia is ready to engage in negotiations on the status of Kosovo if the United States would directly join the process, and if Belgrade officially requests it from Moscow.

Great search in Pristina: Kosovo special forces entered the house of former KLA commander, they are looking for criminals

After meeting with officials from the Government of the Russian Federation and the Council of the Russian Federation, Popovic assessed that the unilateral moves of Pristina, such as the introduction of a 100% tax on imports of goods from Serbia and the adoption of the law on the transformation of the so-called Kosovo army, showed that EU "has no strength left to offer guarantees that the agreements reached between Belgrade and Pristina will be respected."

- With these moves of Pristina and the absence of the EU reaction, the Brussels Agreement was buried. Now we need a new format of a dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, which, instead of under the auspices of the EU, should be led within the UN, with the mediation of the United States, Russia, and China - he stressed
