- The employees of the Protection Service, as well as the fire department unit Plav, are on the field. Fire is not easy to localize because of inaccessible terrain - it is said in a statement of the National Parks and it is added that they expect suppression of fire at the site of Lake Hrid.

The fire on the Dinara mountain, on the border between Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and Croatia, is still active, and the fire line is more than four kilometers long, it threatens the forest, officials said, Fena reports.

In addition to that fire in the Herceg-Bosanska County, there is an active fire in the municipality of Bosansko Grahovo on the Staretina mountain, on the border with the municipality of Glamoc, and due to extremely inaccessible, mined and mine-suspected terrain fires on both sites can be extinguished only by air forces, and that is why the help of BiH armed forces was requested.

The fire in the area of Lagonisi is being extinguished by 40 firefighters with 20 vehicles and two helicopters.

- The situation is tough. The wind is strong, said regional official Yorgos Sofronis on state television, adding that fire has caught the residential areas and that three firefighters were slightly injured while putting out the fire, Reuters reported.

In Albania, a large fire in the National park of Ljogara, Elbasan and the Dajti mountain continues, as the authorities have said, the situation is critical, which is why aid from Italy and Greece has been requested.

- The situation is critical, from 17 to 25 fires are active. The most critical situation is on Ljogara, the Elbasan region, and the Dajti Mountains. Firefighters, police officers and the army are engaged in fire fighting, and we expect airplanes from Greece and one from Italy - said one of the officials, reports ATA.

According to him, despite the fire and critical situation, there are no conditions for declaring a state of emergency.
