Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic organized a formal dinner for President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and the delegation at her official residence in Pantovcak and took the opportunity to once again highlight the importance of the visit the head of the Serbian state.
She, in her address to the officials, said that she had heard that it was the most important thing in Serbia to be a good host.
- The same is the case with us. My mother always tried to make sure that the guests who came to us never went to the barbecue after - the President Grabar Kitarovic was joking.
She emphasized that the visit of President Vucic is significant.
- "Courage" was written on my sleeves. I hope that "wisdom" will be written next time - Grabar Kitarovic said that she is a fan of motivational messages.
She apologized to Vucic and the delegation if they had any inconvenience, adding that this was a minority of people and that most Croats wanted talks and agreement.
President Vucic said in return that the hospitality, which was given to him in Zagreb, was at a high level and invited Grabar-Kitarovic to come to Serbia, guaranteeing that he would show her Serbian hospitality.
He repeated once again that he did not care about the protests that took place during the day in Zagreb. He expressed satisfaction there was nothing negative about Croats in Serbian media regarding this visit. Vucic made a joke by calling minister Aleksandar Vulin and saying that 100 days of silence regarding past events are valid for him.
Vucic said that he hopes for better relations between Croatia and Serbia. He added that it is particularly satisfying that a large number of businessmen from Serbia gathered at the Business Forum.
Numerous Serbian and Croatian businessmen, representatives of public and cultural life, as well as religious dignitaries, were invited to a gala dinner. Among the guests was Serbian actor Miki Manojlovic.
Vucic continues his visit to Croatia on Tuesday by visiting the town of Vrginmost, inhabited by the Serb population and he will participate in the Assembly of the Serb People's Council.
