Croatian Auto Club is asking the drivers of trucks tractors with a trailer not to go on the road towards Rijeka and Dalmatia because of the traffic ban through Gorski Kotar and Lika.

The similar situation is on the roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The classes were stopped in the elementary school "Branko Copic" in Krupa on Una because of snow, while the local roads have been cleaned but they are not safe for traffic -  the head of municipality Mladen Kljajic said, reported by agencies.

- The classes were stopped in the areas of Busevic and Hasani - Kljajic said.

He said that the local roads are cleaned by citizens with tractors, but it is impossible to remove it all because of the amount of snow.

- Due to the enormous amounts of snow that fell earlier, it can't be cleaned well enough. The parts that are cleaned are to narrow for traffic - Kljajic said.

He said that they will ask for help from the municipality Novi Grad and the city of Prijedor, as well as from the administration of Civil Protection of Republika Srpska.

Kljajic said that the snow cover is 64 centimeters in Una, and in higher areas up to 80 centimeters.

- The supply of water and electricity is normal - Kljajic said.
