On 20th Balkan junior mathematics Olympics, which is held from 24th to 29th June in Slatina (Romania), mathematics team from Serbia in the individual competition won one gold and five silver medals

As a team they took third place, behind Romania and Turkey.

Jelena Ivancic has won gold medal (High school of mathematics in Belgrade), while silver medals went to Irina Djankovic, Jovan Toromanovic, Milos Milicevic, Vukasin Mihajlovic and Ilija Uzelec Bujicis from the same school.
