BLACK POINT IN MONTENEGRO HAS TAKEN 1200 LIFES: Danger lurks not only from the canyon Moraca (PHOTO)

For more than four decades of existence of the main road from Podgorica to Kolasin, especially through Platije continuing to Bijelo Polje and the border with Serbia, has killed around 1,200 people! Only in Dromira, at one of the black spots, there are more than 60 victims.

It all began with its construction, which at that time was the construction enterprise, when on 26 May 1962 in Medjurijecje, about thirty kilometers from Podgorica was struck with the biggest disasters in the history of construction in Yugoslavia.

Scaffolding bridge Pjenavac collapsed and killed 25 officers, engineers, carpenters, concrete workers who performed work on concreting the arches of the bridge.

And from then until today not a year has passed without a tragedy. The accident 17 years ago is still remembered when Belgrade bus landed in the canyon of the Moraca River near Podgorica.

Then 20 passengers were killed and 17 injured. The bus first crashed into the wall, and plunged into the abyss.

On the border of Serbia and Montenegro there is the first black spot, Gostun, where in 2004 12 children from Bulgaria were killed in bus accident crash accident.

The black spot is the whole valley of Lim to Bijelo Polje, but Mijatovo kolo and Rogov krs near Mojkovac. One of the also black spots, Podbisce near Kolasin, has taken 11 lives.

The section from Mojkovac to Kolasin is practically is one immense black spot, a path through the canyon is a challenge even for the most experienced drivers.

Last year in the Romanian bus accident in Moraca at bridge Gorge, the bus landed in a deep ravine more than 30 meters deep.

The epilogue was terrifying, 18 dead and 29 seriously injured passengers.
