Snow and cold weather have surrounded the entire region, snow is already creating traffic problems in traffic in Croatia, it is raining in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and there is snow in the mountains, while the red meteoalarm has been released in Montenegro due to rain, showers and strong thunderstorms. The bad weather is approaching Serbia with incredible speed!

The area of Gorski Kotar is on the third level of alert from last night, and the snow conditions are all state roads in that part of Croatia since this morning.

As meteorologists predicted, the temperature dropped significantly, the rain turned to snow during the night, the snow cover is expected in the mountains with the strong wind.

Some snow can be expected in the middle parts of the country, even on North Adriatic Sea, under Velebit and Ucka. 

Due to the strong storm on the see, the gusts of ween can reach 145 km/h, and there is no road from Zagreb to Rijeka which is safe for trucks and cargo vehicles.

Around a dozen vehicles already got stuck at Jelen. The snow has covered Kapela, it is snowing on Sljemen and it is also creating problems in traffic. Wet and slippery roads are making the traffic difficult.

Croatian Auto Club (HAK) advice drivers to adjust their speed and the way they drive for the conditions on the roads, to keep distance between the vehicles on the road and not to go without the snow equipment on mountain roads. 

The ferry lines are currently stopped: Brestova - Porozina; ship line: Mali Losinj - Unije - Susak; catamaran lines: Rijeka - Rab - Novalja,  Mali Losinj - Rijeka, Ubli - Vela Luka - Hvar - Split, Korcula - Hvar - Split.

The European Network of Meteorological Services has announced a red meteoalarm for the whole territory of Montenegro.

The alarm is activated due to the heavy rain that is expected, at least 50mm in 12h, wind lows greater than 50km/h, and strong thunderstorms.

- Mostly cloudy, with rain showers and thunders. Moderate to abundant precipitation is expected. The wind is moderate to strong, occasionally very strong, south and southeast, it will weaken during the night. Morning air temperature will not change much during the day - the statement said.

A red alarm means a warning for very dangerous weather events.

The forecast weather conditions appear very rarely, and they can cause material damage and they could be dangerous to humans and animals. 

Increased caution and continuous monitoring of weather forecasts are advised. The respect of advice and instructions of competent civil services is obligatory.

Strong sea storm took the ship 

Due to the strong storm and winds in Pula, one boat in Uljanik shipyard was cut free and it "sailed" to the neighboring wharf in the customs zone and hit it.

There was no one injured, and they said from the Uljanik group that everything could have a much worse outcome. They added that there is damage to the ship.

The workers in the wharf are trying to fix the situation, reports the local media.
