Head drug-dealer was murdered last night in Belgrade: Everything about Radovan Laketic whose body was found on Vozdovac

Radovan Laketic from Plevlja was murdered this morning in the suburb Veljko Vlahovic on Vozdovac, he was in prison nine years ago because he was one of the main heroin dealers in Belgrade.

Laketic was shot with multiple hits, it is presumed that everything occurred during the night, and his body was found by people passing by. The police are conducting the research.

He recently got out of prison where he served time for drugs smuggling.

Laketic was arrested nine years ago in a moment when he was getting out of his rented apartment in the street of teacher Leotina Knezo on Banjica. He sat down in his car and the inspectors for fighting against narcotics surrounded him. He had two kilos of heroin in his bag and more than a kilo of Paracetamol and Caffeine. 

Two cellphones were found in his possession, as well as 700 euros. It is suspected that the police inspectors prevented him from getting to street dealers and giving them the "merchandise", and also taking the money. The police officers searched through the apartment he rented on Banjica.

25 packs were found in the apartment, more than 19.5kg of heroin, seven packs with 6.4kg of paracetamol and caffeine, and close to half a kilo of cocaine, eight grams of hashish, 25 grams of mixing lactose, two blenders with traces of heroin, two digital scales for precise measuring... The street value of drugs is estimated to 500.000 euros.

- We have the information that Laketic was one of the main suppliers of heroin to Belgrade dealers. He was the third link, right behind the "boss" and the organizer of smuggling... Laketic was the main courier, and the main distributor for Belgrade - the source of the investigation said at the time.

According to the information from the police, this man from Pljevlja acquired drugs in Turkey and he packed them in shoes, and then he would then load them into a van. He would drive the vehicle to Belgrade.

It is interesting that Laketic rented another apartment in Belgrade - in Vidska street, where he had a stash of money. He had 69.040 euros there. It was all taken away from him.
