Cyber attacks using software "ransomware" have been recorded in Serbia, Telegraf.rs found out! As we learn, hackers have attacked several legal entities, and among them is one television!

Our sources said that hackers asked smaller amounts of money to unblock the information from the victims.

 

- Several attacks were reported in Serbia, and among them is a television with number of computers infected.

 

- That attack happened two or three days ago - said our source.

He said that the attack, and other attacks that happened in our country were not directed to the company with the aim to disable their work. Our source said that anyone can be the target of this cyber threat. 

 

- Their aim was not to take down the system or to disable them from working, but to extort the money based on the level their computers are infected, and the price is not high.

 

- Its not important whats whose name, anyone can be a target. They just want money on their account to unblock your information system so you could function normally. Some companies that were attacked did not even report it to the authorities but they gave the money to get unblocked , said our source.

Our source said that "ransomware" can't be recognized, because special software is used to attack which is inserted into our operative system.

 

- Real protection is a great antivirus which will disable that kind of software from ever getting to the computer. It is automatically installed with poorly protected computers. That kinds of attacks happen all the time.

 

- Sometimes they have greater intensity. In this case, they went to the greater number of subjects, but smaller financial requests, to make a sure profit - explains our source and he adds that we should follow our emails and not to open unknown mail which installs "rensomware".
