The best Serbian athlete, Ivana Spanovic, will defend the European title in the long jump in the finals at the Indoor Championships in Belgrade.

Ivana, with a big smile, sent a message before the finals: Over seven meters? Of course i can do it again! (VIDEO)

She accomplished the result she desired before the competition with the fantastic jump of 7.03 meters.

- Yes I'm ready, I'm ready. It's nice to jump in front of a home crowd and for me it is a very big advantage. This is something that moves me, and that is why I would like to use this opportunity to thank everyone for coming. I can not wait for the final, it will be interesting. I expect at least another two girls who will be on the verge of seven meters - indicated Spanovic for RTS.

Her coach Goran Obradovic said that the best Serbian athlete is preparing a surprise for the finale.

- Yes, Ivana and I will be specially dressed. On her's assistance, i will be as well. I can't reveal what it is about - said Obradovic through mysterious smile.

Long jump finals is scheduled for Sunday at 17:40.
