Djinovic made contact with production companies in mid-February. He asked 25 bitcoins payment to his account, with market value of around 3.000.000 dinars. And if they don't do that, he threatened that he will publish the movie before the world premiere.

The American company "20th Century Fox" gave him five bitcoin, which was not enough.

- Although he received the payment in bitcoin, virtual currency which is not a legal tender in the Republic of Serbia, it does not diminish its value. Our law recognizes electronic data "as movable object", which bitcoins are - told to Novosti source familiar with the case.

Arrested Djinovic is allegedly engaged in information technology. He is known in the part of Belgrade where he lived for small frauds. Apparently, he knew how to ask people who rent "Sony PlayStation", projectors, and similar things to take devices and he never returned them. He would leave them false information so they could not track him.

Djinovic is a son of respectable retired police officer.
