Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, ever since he has taken an office as head of state at the end of May, is in a kind of diplomatic offensive for Serbian best interests. Over the past 45 days, he has met with many world leaders, both in Belgrade and throughout the planet.

June 03, 2017 - Kranj (500 km) - After becoming a president, Vucic traveled to Kranj, where he participated in the meeting of the "Brdo-Brioni" Process. There he spoke with regional leaders, but also with German President Frank-Walter-Steinmeier. The head of the Serbian state then said that there is no love in the region, but that there is a need to talk and to preserve peace and stability.

June 9, 2017 - Astana (3800 km) - Vucic was in Kazakhstan as special guest of the President Nursultan Nazarbayev at the opening of the Expo 2017 exhibition, and he visited the companies of the dedicated industry and talked with Prime Minister Bakitzin Sagintai on cooperation in the field of economy, military industry and technology. He also had meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping, as well as with Russian Vladimir Putin, who confirmed that MiG's 29 are coming to Serbia.

July 10, 2017 - Istanbul (810 km) - The President of Serbia held important talks on energy security in Istanbul with Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Serbia expects the second line of Turkey's pipeline to pass through our country and the Western Balkans, Vucic said at the 22nd International Oil Congress, held this year under the slogan "Bridges to our Energy Future".

July 13, 2017 - Thessaloniki (510 km) - President Vucic led Serbia's delegation to visit Thessaloniki, where the first session of the High Council for Cooperation between Serbia and Greece was held. On this occasion, important agreements were signed between the two countries, and apart from meeting between "four eyes" with the Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, the president of Serbia participated in trilateral with the Bulgarian head of government, Boyko Borisov.

July 14, 2017 - Brussels (1830 km) - From Thessaloniki, the Serbian President flew to Brussels for an important meeting with the President of the European Council, Donald Tusk. Vucic said after the talks that he had received Tusk's firm word that Serbia would become a member of the EU when it fulfills its obligations.

July 15, 2017 - Washington (6220 km) - The pace of travel has been tremendous, the President of Serbia continued his visit to the United States. In Washington, Vucic has held important talks with representatives of the National Guard, senators and congressmen, representatives of world companies, and most importantly with Vice President of America Mike Pence. Following this meeting in the White House, Vucic said that his talks with the US vice-president in the White House have further contributed to creating greater mutual trust.

When we add the kilometers President Vucic flew to the mentioned world metropolises and back to Serbian Capital, we reach the impressive 28,860 kilometers. All the mentioned meetings were agenda, which was announced by President Vucic when he assumed the duty of the head of the State, that he will fight for national interests of Serbia at every step.
