Shooting of the series "Games of Thrones" made a profit to Dubrovnik at least 60 million euros per season. There are around 200 sites around Serbia with fortresses remains and cities that can bring huge profit to our country. Unlike Croatia, it seems that we still don't know how to use our historical treasures.

Our country has locations that are ideal for recording medieval films, which are lately becoming increasingly popular.
In just three hours of recording, Belgrade Fortress earns up to 4,000 euros.
- The price of cinematic shooting at the Belgrade Fortress depends on the location where the recording is done. Ranging from 23,500 dinars to record in the Music Pavilion at Kalemegdan, up to 70,000 dinars for three hours recording in the Upper Town of Belgrade Fortress - told the Telegraf Ana Rajlic, PR of Belgrade fortress.
The entry of vehicles for delivery of equipment and set design costs around 13,000 dinars for one vehicle.
Most fortresses and fortified towns were expanded and adjusted to the development of war techniques, some of which were the forerunners of modern Serbian cities.
Thanks to its rich history and architecture, the area of Belgrade Fortress and Kalemegdan park are very attractive for various recordings, mostly for scenes that show the spirit of the past.
- When great Hollywood movies were made here like November man, Three days for murder and Koriolan, it took 30 vehicles to get all necessary equipment - added Ana Raljic.
Among others, scenes from home movies like: "Santa Maria della Salute", Montevideo-Bog te video" and "Bicemo Prvaci Sveta" were made here.
However, most of the fortresses around Serbia were not restored and cannot be used to record movies.
Because of its looks, the fortress Maglic can bring big profits to our country.
Slightly larger fortresses such as Smederevska and Golubac have more visits and the price for rent is higher.
The rental price includes rental of the fortress, securing the fortress during recording, hiring of extra facilities and a restraining order for visitors during recording time.
The scenes from the series "Games of Thrones" were taken in Croatia and the entire economy of our neighbors made good profit.
In order to ensure producers from leaking photos from the shooting of a scene, they had to set aside another 200.ooo euros.
This is the sum spent on security, prohibition of the use of mobile phones, local fee for entrepreneurs whose shops close. All this cost them 50,000 euros per day.
