The bitter fates of all 12 godfathers of Luka Bojovic: They butchered, murdered, and then they ended up even worse

Out of 12 of the closest associates of Luka Bojovic in Serbia and Spain, together with Dragoslav Miloradovic, four were murdered, seven were sentenced for various criminal acts, and the destiny of one of them is unknown.

Four indictments link the aforementioned twelve with Bojovic and they were before Serbian and Spanish courts from 2005 to 2014.

The indictments relate to various crimes: from false documents from the beginning of the 2000s (for which he was tried precisely with Miloradovic) to organized crime in Spain (for which he was convicted with Milisavljevic, Mijanovic, and Petric). Two acquittal verdicts were also introduced between them - for a series of killings of criminal rivals and the torture of Mirko Elezovic.

As for the four killed, their murders have not been resolved to this day.

GODFATHERS OF LUKA BOJOVIC 

Veljko Banovic (44), nickname Vodka, was sentenced for smuggling of cocaine. He was arrested in Belgrade with Bojovic in 2007. The trial followed for illegal possession of weapons, possession of drugs and forgery of documents, after which he was sentenced to 18 months in prison. He was also charged with smuggling of cocaine and heroin a month later, and that is why he was sentenced to six and a half years in prison in 2010. He is one of the rare associates of Bojovic who was sentenced in Serbia.

Ilija Nonovic (43), nickname Fatty, was murdered. His burnt body was found on April 24th, 2009 in Surcin, in a fried "Jeep". He was previously shot by a gun. Fatty was arrested with Bojovic and Banovic in 2007. Just like Vodka, he was sentenced for false documents. He didn't serve his sentence to the end because he was murdered one year before the end of it.

Cvetko Simic, nickname Cvele, was murdered. Luka's best friend was murdered, by his own confession, by Sretko Kalinic in Zagreb, in 2010. The motive is unknown (it was said that it was a conflict because of a girl). Simic had a betting shop "Tas" in Belgrade, and he was the director of Bojovic's companies located in American Delaware.

Sretko Kalinic (44), nickname Beast, was sentenced for various murders. Kalinic "took over" after Bojovic when the Zemun clan fell after the police operation "Saber" in 2003. The story about Kalinic is well known: the most ruthless hitman from these areas. He got the nickname beast for especially brutal murders, and some of them were without a motive. He would grind the victims in the meat machine after the murder.

Milos Simovic (39), sentenced for murders and kidnapping. One of the most dangerous members of the Zemun clan, he allegedly worked for Bojovic after the "Sabre". He executed and he participated (according to one of the verdicts) in at least 12 murders, in the bombing attack on "Defense roads" of Ljubisa Buha Cume, the kidnapings of Vuk Bajrusevic, Milija Babovic and Suvad Music, and in the murder of Prime Minister Djindjic.

Vladimir Milisavljevic (42), nickname Vlada the Fool, sentenced for the organized crime. Arrested in Spain with Bojovic in 2012. They were sentenced together before the Madrid court. He avoided all charges in Serbia for the murder of Djindjic and participation in Zemun clan.

Sinisa Petric (44), nickname Zenica, sentenced for the organized crime. Arrested in Spain with Bojovic and sentenced to 15 years in prison. He was previously sentenced in Serbia and region for various crimes, (as a member of the group of Marinko Magda) and for murders. He was in the war in Arkan's military unit in Croatia.

Vladimir Mijanovic (44), nickname Zuba, sentenced for the organized crime. Arrested in Spain with Bojovic, he is serving the sentence of five years which is soon coming to an end. Serbia asked for his extradition for suspicions that he participated in numerous murders with Bojovic. He is one of Luka's closest friends.

Rade Rakonjac was murdered. He was Luka's war friend from the front. Arkan's godfather. He was murdered in 2014 in the middle of the day, in a cafe in the center of Belgrade. This murder is attributed to Bojovic with Saranovic brothers, as a blood vengeance which burned between families for years.

Bozidar Cakic (45), sentenced for extortions. Charged for torturing and beating of Mirko Elezovic, for which he was freed, together with Bojovic and Rakonjac. He was arrested in 2011 as a part of the group connected with Dejan Stojanovic Keka, for extortions. He is serving 6 years in prison since 2016.

Dejan Dolasevic, besides being the part of the group which allegedly tortured and beat Elezovic, nothing is known about him. It's unknown if he is on freedom or if he was sentenced after 2008.
