If tanks from Serbia cross the Kosovo border, we are here: Haradinaj threatens with a new war

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said that no one has the right to talk about the borders of Kosovo and added:

He added that it would be considered a national treason if someone tried to "move the borders".

As Haradinaj said, anyone who wants to cross the borders needs to know that a new war will be started, RTK 2 reported.

Haradinaj claims that "Kosovo has a constitutional obligation to protect every citizen of its territory."

- If tanks from Serbia cross Kosovo border, we are here, no one else is here. We have the rights to self-defense. That is not stopping NATO to defend itself. If Serbia attacks, NATO will help if they can, if they can't they will say "Good luck" - said Haradinaj.

As he said, the idea to connect the Presevo Valley to the territory of Kosovo is something that is impossible to achieve.

- Do you know what it means to touch someone else's territory and no one has the mandate to negotiate about the Kosovo territory? The dialogue is political only for mutual recognition. The desire remains, but neither President Thaci, nor anyone else, has the mandate to move the territory of Kosovo - Haradinaj said.

As he said, "we will gladly take the valley if Serbia gives it to us, if they want that, but no one has the right to negotiate about the independence of Kosovo territory which was proclaimed on February 17th".

He said that the lives were lost "for this border, for this reality", and that questioning of that achievement would be a mistake for Pristina.

- We see that Albanians and all others living here respect other communities, but discussion on moving the territory is national treason - said Haradinaj.

He stated that whoever is speaking about the border he is performing "national treason" and he added that "moving of the current territory of the country or the operations on the existing territory of the country, or action against the territory where we proclaimed independence - represents treason".

By opening this topic, Thaci would be opposed to Belgrade's reply that in the end "nobody should do anything to anyone", he said, adding that the violation of the (integrity) of the territory of the country is a call to war.
