The Serbian Embassy in Slovenia organized a reception on Tuesday on the occasion of the Statehood Day and the constitutionality of the Republic of Serbia, during which Serbian Ambassador Zorana Vlatkovic said that relations between the two countries are at the highest level.

- On our road to the EU, our friends are very important to us, and we see Slovenia as a true and honest friend. In our region, friendships are kept and nurtured, and we will be pleased to continue doing so. Slovenia is one of Serbia's most important economic partners, with a large number of investments, employing over 1,500 Slovenian companies in Serbia, and in recent years, we witnessed the growing investments of Serbian companies in Slovenia - the ambassador of Serbia stated.
She added that citizens of the Serbian nationality contribute greatly to the Slovenian society, stressing that she is proud of the great Serbian community living in Slovenia and which is well integrated, according to Stajerske News.
- Workers, doctors, engineers, artists, and athletes make a great contribution to the Slovenian society and it is our desire that they continue to be loyal citizens of Slovenia, but also to preserve and nourish their culture, letter and tradition - said Ambassador Vlatkovic said in her address on the occasion of Statehood Day of Serbia.
The ceremonial reception in the embassy of Serbia was attended by numerous distinguished figures and officials from the world of diplomacy, politics, society, as well as representatives of religious communities.
